Happy Friday!! I had a good day today, we started off playing with my friends followed by a potty break outside. Later we worked on recall for our training session. In the beginning we did one on one repetitions and afterwards practiced recall in a group setting to work on distractions. In the afternoon we had a nap and ended our day with another play session.

I had the BEST day ever!! 🐾✨ I showed off my brainpower with some super fun trick training (I’m basically a genius now 😎🎓) and then burned off all that energy with tons of playtime with my friends! 🐕💨 From zoomies to silly games, I made sure to keep the fun going all day long. Dottie was my favourite friend today, we played tug for a lot of the day. I also was super cuddly with the staff today. I was demand barking for some of the day but for the most part I respected my trainers when they asked me to stop. I did very well for the leave it exercise today.

Today at school I worked super hard on my door manners! We practiced waiting politely at door thresholds both inside and outside. I learned to pause, stay calm, and move through only when invited. I had so much fun playing with my friends today, Riker was of course my best friend today, but I also enjoyed playing with Larry and all the other dogs. There were a few times I demand barked at my friends when they tried to take a break from play but I listened to my instructors well when the helped me move on. I did pretty well for the take it leave it exercise, I very much enjoyed it.

Today I wanted to play with my friends all day. I didn’t always listen when they asked for a break and I was would bark at my friends while they were trying to nap. The staff would walk me on their belt and I was good with the leash but generally returned to whichever dog I was playing with before after being released. I did pretty good with the focus exercise today; for today’s focus exercise we had a Winter Olympics and ran through a tunnel, I was hesitant about going through the tunnel and only took a few steps but I tried my best.

I had a pawsome day in school 🐾. I worked really hard on my cues, especially listening to my name and ‘sit’. I even stayed focused when there were fun smells and other dogs around! Pepper had an amazing first day!! She was so sweet and so gentle with the dogs and trainers🤍🤍 When she first got in she was a bit nervous but she soon became our Velcro dog she even tripped us a few times. She also showed us her barking skills!!
